I find it encouraging to know that the Lord may be preparing me now for comfort and encouragement I will need down the road. I think that also helps me get through seemingly difficult but trivial problems.
It's one of those things i've known, doubted, and am trying to get my hands around. :) But I'm getting there. Yes, I think it does help day to day as well as huge.
