I find that to be a struggle for me too: seeking affirmation or comfort from others before seeking it from God. It's one of those hard things because we are made for community, so it's good to see help from others but not in lieu of our relationship with God.
Beautiful my friend. It can be a very lonely road at times, but knowing that HE knows and that HE loves me, softens the intense loneliness at times. Thank you for a lovely reminder.
Whether you leave your thoughts here, facebook, twitter, or email me, I can not express how much I appreciate you sharing them with me. My miniature attempt: Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

ReplyDeleteDon't forget, as well, sometimes God sends you to people. Isaiah was sent to Hezekiah and Ahaz. But it was through God. Maybe an order of events? ;)
