  1. I know you know this... but I think that we can't fall so far that God can't catch us and that God can't USE us. And I think we've all, at times, been at that place of disbelief. "Even me? Surely He can't use even me." A willing heart is what He's asked of us... and it's okay if it's one that's screwed the heck up. He'll use that, too.

    Love you muchly!

  2. Indeed you don't!!! Oh, how God is using you, my friend! Isn't that just like the enemy- to use our failures against us?
Thanks for sharing your response to what you are learning- I'm loving this!!!!

  3. :0) I just wanted to share this little bit of my life with you. Just yesterday, I was sitting on the porch reading One Thousand Gifts. My 2 younger boys were there sort of talking and I was sort of listening as I was reading. Not sure how the conversation led to Hagar, but it did and I was so blessed to be able to share some of what I was reading in Ann's book with them. Then I remembered you had been posting about Hagar and thought "the Lord must really WANT me to learn from Hagar if He gave it to me twice in as many days :0).

"He let her know He still saw her, He was still with her, and He would still do as He promised."

I was so thrilled to share that God does keep His promises with my boys! They were really listening too. And for 14 and 15 THAT was def a moment made by God!

Thanks for you words of encouragement!
